What I love about this image it’s exposure of how something so little can add such a difference to the perception of an image. What’s awesome is that the mustache that Hitler hand is now associated with him in most every context and can be recognized from a minimalist image. The only time the mustache isn’t associated with Hitler is when it is on another famous figure, Charlie Chaplin.
I really like this image too! It is simple and clear. It communicates effectively while still maintaining a minimalist style. I feel like perception changes are kind of what the Gestalt principles of design are about. It’s like when we play with foreground and background we create a new perception of the image and hide another one. Very cool. =)

Really clever and idea with good humor! I love ultra-minimal designs like this. A little OCD of me, but I couldn’t help but be bugged by the seemingly random blurring out of the texture around the design. It’s done in jagged edges with no real pattern or purpose that I can tell. Anyone know why this is?
