I found this image in a gallery shared earlier on this blog by Matt Hayashi, and I thought that this poster in particular was very intriguing. The designer did a great job of using the image of the Stormtrooper’s helmet to also double as a spacecraft making the jump to light speed. Even with the lack of vibrant colours, the poster is still very eye-catching because of it’s use of the widely recognized and iconic helmet.
At first, I did not realise the Storm Trooper Mask until I read your description! I thought this whole poster was really well done and really cool. I like how the mask doubles as a spacecraft and also makes a good use of space. The only thing I think I would have liked more would be if there was more contrast, if there was more white than just a grey, it would brighten up the piece and maybe make it easier to see, but overall I really enjoy and am intrigued by the design.

Woah! I did not even notice that the image was a storm trooper mask! I was really drawn to this image because I love Star Wars and it was very intriguing. Even though the only colours are black and white it still attracts the eye. The artist did a great job in this image!

Similar to the last couple people, I did not realize the spaceship was actually a storm troopers mask. I like the seemingly initial simplicity but then realizing that there is more to the design. I think the lack of colour is important to keep the idea of simplicity, I think once you were to add colour to it it would start to feel more complex.
